"I Do Not Exist" begins with the notion that humanity is inherently tied to suffering, exploring the presence or absence of the body through conversations with AI. A life-sized book made of natural latex represents the human body. This book, like an independent humanentity, can be disassembled into individual pages or bound together using clamps reminiscent of surgical instruments. The latex material closely resembles human skin in both texture and color, and overtime, it decays and deteriorates. Each page contains a dialogue where a generative AI is prompted to assume the existence of a body and imagine the sensations of possessing individual body parts. These AI-generated responses are inscribed on to the pages in graphite. Alongside the text, sutures evocative of surgical scars run through each page, reinforcing the theme of bodily fragmentation and reconstruction.”

<저는 없어요>는 인간다움은 곧 고통이란 인식에서 출발하여, 신체의 존재 혹은 부재의 감각을 AI와의 대화를 통해 확인한다. 천연 소재의 라텍스로 만든 인간 신체 크기의 책이 존재한다. 이 책은 독립적 개체의 인간처럼 낱장으로 해체되어 제시되기도, 수술도구를 닮은 집게로 모여 제본되기도 한다. 라텍스는 그 질감과 색상이 인간의 피부와 닮아 있으며,시간의 흐름에 따라 부패하고 소멸 한다. 책의 각 장에는 생성형 AI에게 신체의 존재를 가정하여 질문하고, 이에 대하여 AI가 몸의 개별부분을 가졌을 때의 느낌을 상상하여 답한 텍스트가 흑연으로 각인되어 있다. 텍스트와 더불어 외과적 흉터 및 수술자국을 연상시키는 봉합선이 각 장을 관통하여 지난다.
